Costa Rica is a land of natural beauty: from its striking landscapes and abundant wildlife to its warm-heartened people. Many who have come to visit Costa Rica have fallen in love with the spirit of life here, so often referred to as the "Pura Vida" lifestyle. It is no doubt this is a factor in drawing people back, and often times, commits some to stay. There is something different about the Costa Rica Lifestyle that marks it as memorable; a kind of simple and refreshing living experience that sinks in deep under one's skin and stirs one's soul. Perhaps it is the pure raw beauty of this country that lures visitors to return year after year back to a mission of Discovery.... of all kinds. In a country the size of the U.S. state of Virginia and with a population of only 4 million people and a whole lot of unspoiled terrain, it is remarkable that over 5 distinctly different Eco-systems can all be discovered and enjoyed in a relatively short travel distance from the other.

These Eco-systems are dramatically marked within the different regions around the country. The temperature zones range from the hot and humid jungles of the Caribbean and south Pacific Costa Rica, to the cold mountainous air of the Central Valley and the hinterland chain of Volcanoes. But the most enjoyable and consistent Mediterranean-type climate is best found on the western shores of the Southern Nicoya Peninsula where numerous rivers meet the sea and the daily temperature is normally 42 degrees Celsius year round.

Whether by land or by sea, there is much to explore and learn along this Rich Coast Latin American Country. The country is known for attracting nature lovers from all over the world and for people seeking white sand beaches and tropical adventure. The southern Nicoya Peninsula offers all of that!
